Jewel & Keepsake "Objet d' Art" Box.
I've made a couple of these so far with this one being the largest. Machined from mild steel, hand engraved and inlayed with 24k gold accents then nitre blued to achieve the rich contrast. Inside is lined with with royal blue velvet or can be lined to fit a specific piece.
I may begin including smaller versions of these with my gold and platinum rings in the near future.

When I recieve a ring requiring extensive engraving, I always request that the large center stone be set AFTER the engraving is completed. This ensures that the stone will never be touched by a sharp chisel. The following 2 photos were taken before the ring was shipped back for the setting of the spinel.

Platinum "Rope" Border Ring
4mm alexandrite and platinum rope borders in titanium with fully sculpted scroll ornament....
The "white on white" appearance of platinum and natural finish titanum posed an interesting challenge as the platinum border would have been virtually indistinguishable if inlayed flush. The solution was to go true "3D" by twisting finely drawn platinum simulating rope and setting it deeply into the border channel. I'm looking forward to doing this with rose and yellow gold in the near future!

Matched Pair of Custom ornament relief engraving in Damascus with 18k gold hearts and borders. The ornament on these rings match the custom artwork on the wedding stationary. Being a bit intricate and detailed, these rings were "selectively etched" to preserve the engraving while revealing a deep etch in the damascus pattern on the rest of the ring. Note the damascus pattern is prominent outside of the borders and inside the heart!
